Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
This site lets you send an enquiry about a job. This page sets out what data reaches us when you do, what we do with it and what rights you have.
1. Who processes the data
The data controller is 1 ABIMEES OÜ, registry code 17589072, VAT number EE103025102.
Privacy questions: info@1abimees.ee or +372 5815 0668.
2. What data reaches us
From the enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job, a description of the work, and up to five photographs if you choose to attach them.
When we do a job for you, the invoice or receipt carries your name, address and email address, and for a company also its registry code and VAT number. You confirm acceptance of the work with a signature, which stays on the document.
We may photograph the finished work. The photos are kept with the invoice or receipt, so that in a dispute we can show what work was done.
Before the work starts, you sign an order confirmation, which we send to you by email.
From the web server logs: IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These are created automatically on every visit.
We do not ask for or collect personal identification codes or dates of birth.
Card payments are taken in the phone with the SumUp app. We neither see nor store the card details — they go from the card straight to SumUp. Only the amount, the time and the confirmation that the payment went through reach us.
3. Why, and on what basis
Enquiry data is used only to reply to you, agree a price and carry out the work. The legal basis is steps taken before entering a contract, and performance of that contract.
When we agree a time for the job, we email you a confirmation and, an hour before the visit, a reminder.
Server logs are used to keep the site secure and running. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
Invoices and accounting records for completed work are kept because the law requires it.
We do not send marketing.
4. Who the data goes to
An enquiry arrives as an email in our mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited).
The site itself runs on our own server in Estonia. Enquiry details are kept on the same server so that we can arrange a time for the job with you.
Invoices, receipts and photos of finished work are kept on our own server in Estonia. The invoice or receipt is emailed to you from our Google Workspace mailbox.
If an invoice is not paid, we may pass the claim with the necessary details to a debt collection agency or to a court.
Card payments are handled by SumUp, which is responsible for processing the payment data itself. We neither pass on nor receive card details.
The data goes no further. It is not sold or exchanged.
5. How long it is kept
Enquiries that did not lead to work are deleted after one year.
Correspondence and documents relating to completed work are kept for seven years, as required by the Accounting Act.
Server logs are kept for up to three months.
6. Cookies
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. No visitor profile is built and nothing is shared with advertising networks.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google servers.
7. Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, and object to processing.
Write to info@1abimees.ee — we reply within one month at the latest.
If the reply does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee, +372 627 4135).
8. Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Only we have access to enquiries, and the mailbox is protected by two-factor authentication.
Photographs you send stay in the email attachment and are not published anywhere without your consent.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. For significant changes the new version appears here before it takes effect.
