Terms of use

1. General

The site owner and the provider of the work is 1 ABIMEES OÜ, registry code 17589072.

The site gives information about the services and lets you send an enquiry. It is not a booking or payment system: you cannot reserve a time or pay here.

2. Enquiry and price

Sending an enquiry is not a contract and commits you to nothing.

The prices shown are starting prices and include VAT. We give the final price before the work starts, once we understand its scope — a photograph gives the most accurate estimate.

An agreed price covers the agreed work. If it turns out on site that there is more to do, we discuss it before continuing.

3. Doing the work

The time is agreed in advance. If we cannot come at the agreed time, we say so at the first opportunity.

Please make sure we can get into the premises and that there is power.

We come with our own tools and clear up after ourselves.

4. Materials

Materials — fixings, skirting boards, locks — are bought either by you or, by agreement, by us and added to the invoice.

The cost of materials is not included in the price of the work unless agreed otherwise.

5. Payment

Private customers pay once the work is finished, on the spot by card or in cash.

A company can pay on the spot with a company card, or against an invoice with payment terms.

6. If something is wrong with the work

If a defect appears in work we have done, tell us at the first opportunity. We will put it right or agree a reduction in price.

Consumer rights arise from the Law of Obligations Act and these terms do not limit them.

7. Work we do not take on

We do not do electrical work that requires certification — sockets, consumer units — or gas work.

If a job needs a qualified trade, we say so immediately and suggest who to approach.

8. Liability

We are liable for damage caused directly by our work.

We are not liable for damage arising from a pre-existing hidden defect we could not have known about — an undocumented cable inside a wall, for example.

9. Site content

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to 1 ABIMEES OÜ.

Partner logos belong to their owners and are used with their permission.

10. Governing law and disputes

Estonian law applies.

We aim to settle disputes by agreement. A consumer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (tarbijakaitseamet.ee).
